Teen Video Game Design Camp
Leave this 3-day series having created your own video game level! During the camp attendees will use the Unreal Development Kit to create a fully interactive 3D game level. Attendees will work with a professional Game Designer to create every part of their level; from the sky and the ground to the various objects found in it. At the end of the camp, attendees will be able to play their level as well as the other levels created by peers during the camp. Games will be rated "T for Teen.
Must attend all 3 classes, July 16-18.
Ahoy shipbuilders! Anchors away for the second annual Bubbler Regatta! Create your own mini vessels from recycled materials, test their seaworthiness, and race against your friends down our raingutter course
you may have to supply your own wind. Children under 7 should be accompanied by an adult.

Collaborative Ceramic Lantern-Making Workshop
Working with the artist-in-residence, participants will have the chance to carve porcelain pre-rolled slabs that, when combined together, will become ceramic lanterns! By designing and carving lantern panels, participants will be able to take home a finished lantern, collaboratively made by previous workshop participants!
Open Media Lab
The Media Lab at Central Library is a free space to explore digital media production in the realms of stop motion animation, 3D world design, green screen video, audio design and graphic design. Drop in and explore the lab or work on projects with the expertise of our media lab staff.
