Kim Phúc is a peace ambassador and author of "Fire Road: The Napalm Girl's Journey through the Horrors of War to Faith, Forgiveness & Peace." She will share her story of hope, forgiveness, and mindfulness on the 47th anniversary of the napalm attack on her village, Trảng Bàng, during the Vietnam War.

She will be joined by Nick Ut, the Vietnamese-American photographer who won a Pulitzer Prize for his photo of Phúc, officially titled "The Terrors of War."

Join Children's Library International in co-sponsorship with the Madison Public Library, UW-Madison Center for Southeast Asian Studies, the Pyle Center, and the Department of Public Instruction, for a presentation, discussion, and appetizers.
