Nourish You: Self Care Retreat
The Nourish You: Self-Care Retreat is for women who dont always feel included in mainstream self-care offerings. Come and get inspired to move into relaxation! Presented by: Venus Washington, Nikki Cook, and Araceli Esparza. Women who attend will receive tools that they can incorporate into their lifestyle to enhance or begin a self-care practice at home. Registration begins April 20.

Jacki Whisenant is a scientific illustrator with a fondness for bats, beetles & other unsung ecological heroes. Insects are one of the most numerous group of organisms on the earth, with some of the most amazing body shapes and forms! We will look at the differences between the major groups of insects and practice drawing them.

Open Media Lab
The Media Lab at Central Library is a free space to explore digital media production in the realms of stop motion animation, 3D world design, green screen video, audio design and graphic design. Drop in and explore the lab or work on projects with the expertise of our media lab staff.

Madison Writing Assistance: General and Job-Related Writing Help
Free one-on-one coaching sessions for writing projects of any kind, including school assignments, resumes and cover letters, personal letters, applications, forms, newsletters, articles, memoirs, poems and absolutely any other kinds of writing.
Appointments for writing assistance may be made the week of assistance. Call 266-6395 to make a 45-minute appointment. Due to high demand, you are encouraged to call as soon as the library opens (Tuesdays at 10 a.m., or Saturdays at 9 a.m.)
