Thousands of gently used books, DVDs and other materials. Most items are $2 or less. Hosted by the Friends of the Madison Public Library. Sale runs April 25-28. Sale hours: Thursday, April 25, 9 am - 9 pm, Friday, April 26, 9 am - 6 pm, Saturday, April 27, 9 am - 5 pm; Sunday, April 28, 1 pm - 3 pm (bag sale).

This is a story about you. A tale about the inside of your body… According to a new study, the human body consists of approximately 37 trillion cells. These cells are hard at work every day within a world that is your body. From the oxygen carrying Red Blood Cells to the bacteria fighting White Blood Cells, Get to know the unsung heroes and the drama that unfolds inside of you!

The Hawthorne Anime Club was created to give people a place to gather, watch, and talk about Japanese animation. Each meeting will include screenings of everything from classic titles to new releases. The club is aimed primarily at teens and adults. Films are shown in Japanese with English subtitles. Refreshments served at each meeting.

Call ahead to reserve your spot! People under age 16 who are interested in attending are required to have a parent present or to have a signed parental permission slip.

The Greater Madison Jazz Consortium & The Madison Music Collective wrap up their InDigenous Spring Jazz concert series with Lo Marie.

Lo Marie will perform original music focusing on material from her upcoming album "La Rêve," a celebration of creativity and expression. Marie's aesthetic encompasses jazz harmonic constructs, urban grooves, soulful guitar passages, and the expressivity of the jazz and neo-soul vocal traditions.
