The Hidden Life of Things: Andean and Amazonian Cultural Artifacts

The Hidden Life of Things pop-up exhibit presents a collection of Andean and Amazonian cultural artifacts featured as “texts” in their own right on 19 retractable banners and stands. The exhibit includes interactive features, accessible through QR codes that can be read on any smart phone, which allow viewers to listen to Andean music, hear Quechua poetry and Andean myths, access resources online, and learn more about the cultural artifacts as they move through the exhibit.

Enjoy rhymes, bounces, books and songs while learning new tips and techniques to help your baby develop early literacy and early math skills and naturally growing baby's social skills in a group setting. Enjoy a short storytime, then stay for play and conversation. For babies ages 0 - 15 Months with an adult. One adult per baby is recommended. Weekly registration begins 12/21.

A fun and active fitness class for children ages 18 months to five years and their parent or caregiver. Learn songs, games, and exercises that can be used on a daily basis. Mindfulness, wellness, and self-esteem are also emphasized. Teacher Venus Washington, owner of Venus Inspires Fitness Company, is excited to share her tips and knowledge with you! Free one-on-one coaching sessions for writing projects of any kind, including resumes and cover letters, school assignments, personal letters, applications, forms, newsletters, articles, memoirs, poems or any other kind of writing. Basic computer help, such as setting up email accounts, searching for jobs online, or filling out online job applications, is also available.
