Explore science, technology, engineering & math through play (and books!). For children ages 3-5 years old. Registration is first come, first served. Please pick up a nametag 15 minutes before the program.

Up Close with Magnum Opus Ballet
Come and see a sneak peak of Magnum Opus' holiday performance "Full Light" followed by learning creative ballet steps yourself! Magnum Opus is the newest professional ballet company in all of Wisconsin. They strive to love Madison with positive and inspiring performances while maintaining a high standard of integrity within the ballet work environment. This event is especially for children ages 6 & younger and their families!

Instructions for both beginners and those who wish to improve their chess playing skills will be available.
Collaborative Beat-making Workshop w/ Artist-in-Residence Richard Jones
An introductory beat-making class where participants will learn how to create instrumentals while working with others. Those creations will then be used during the Community Collaborative Songwriting Workshop (11/25) to form complete collaborative songs that will be featured on the Bubbler website.
Apple and Cranberry Pies with Chef Paul Tseng
Pie is a vehicle for carrying variety of ingredients and can be many different forms depending on culture and custom. In this class, we will learn how to make classic apple & cranberries pie with lattice topping. Register online or call 288-6160.

Evening Family Storytime
Unwind at the library as a family with evening storytime. Bring your dinner or snack and join us for stories, puppets, and songs to appeal to all ages.
Include built in time for you to read together as a family. Pick out a great book from our special stack to take home and read before bed that night. No registration necessary.

From 6:45 PM to 8 PM it's time to hone your skills and have some fun playing chess.
