The sale will be at the Meadowridge Library, 5726 Raymond Road, Madison, WI 53711. All proceeds benefit the Meadowridge Library.

Our goal is to build a community of women who can come together to grow professionally and personally.

Our goal for this workshop is to start the conversation for ladies in the pre-college through pre-data career phase of their journey. If you are curious about data and would like to see how you can leverage it to build a career - this is the workshop for you!
No experience is necessary.

Just in time for Halloween, Jacki is hosting an all-ages workshop that will look at the fascinating structures within. Animals that look completely different on the outside all share a similar blueprint on the inside, and we are all more alike than we realize. We will look at basic skeletal anatomy and practice making our own skeletons of anything from badgers and giraffes to whales and even cartoon characters! Freehand or some guides will be available.

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with Araceli Esparza. Learn how to make an altar, talk about the elements of an altar, and hear a Dia de los Muertos story. Make your own papel picado and taste pan de muerto. And, join local artist Rodrigo Carapia as he creates a painting on canvas related to Día de los Muertos.
Celebra el Día de los Muertos con Araceli Esparza. Aprende a hacer un altar, habla de los elementos de un altar, y escucha una historia de dia de los muertos. Haz tu propio papel picado y saborea el pan de muerto. Y, únase al artista local Rodrigo Carapia mientras crea una pintura sobre lienzo relacionada con el día de los muertos.

Let's celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)! Día de los Muertos is an ancient Mexican holiday when families joyfully honor and remember family, friends, and ancestors. We will make folk crafts, calaveras (sugar skulls), papel picado (cut tissue paper designs), mariposas (butterflies), and snack on Pan de Muertos (bread of the dead) to share this beautiful Mexican tradition. No registration necessary.

¡Vamos a celebrar Día de los Muertos! Día de los Muertos es una antigua fiesta Mexicana donde las familias alegremente honran y recuerdan a la familia, amigos, y antepasados. Haremos artesanías populares, calaveras de azúcar, papel picado, mariposas, y merendaremos Pan de Muertos para compartir esta bella tradición Mexicana. No hay necesidad de registrarse.

Free one-on-one coaching sessions for writing projects of any kind, including school assignments, resumes and cover letters, personal letters, applications, forms, newsletters, articles, memoirs, poems and absolutely any other kinds of writing.

Appointments for writing assistance may be made the week of assistance. Call 266-6395 to make a 45-minute appointment. Due to high demand, you are encouraged to call as soon as the library opens (Tuesdays at 10 a.m., or Saturdays at 9 a.m.)

Madison Writing Assistance is a free service is provided by the UW-Madison Writing Center and is made possible through the generous support of the Evjue Foundation, the UW Anonymous Fund, Altrusa Internaional of Madison and the UW-Madison Writing Center.
