The Nourish You: Self-Care Retreat is for women who don’t always feel included in mainstream self-care offerings.

Please wear comfortable clothes so that you can fully enjoy yourself. When you arrive, enjoy light refreshments and activities to nourish you as you prepare for the soulful offerings of the day.


Araceli Esparza and Nikki Cook will be providing an offering on Embodied Writing.

Jasmine Timmons and Venus Washington will be providing an offering on Embodied Affirmations.

Come and get inspired to move into relaxation! Women who attend will receive tools that they can incorporate into their lifestyle to enhance or begin a self-care practice at home.


Parking vouchers will be provided to attendees who park in a city-owned ramp.

If you need bus transfers please let know by September 5th

Ken Hoffman Jazz Tenor Saxophonist with Guitarist Anthony Utehs and Bassist Matt Rogers.

Ken has performed with Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, and many other nationally recognized artists. His style has been described as intensely soulful, lyrical - even sensual. Musically he captures the depth and creativity of jazz combined with the raw emotional power of the blues.

Sunday Jazz at Sequoya is funded via the generosity of the Friends of Sequoya Library.
