Make your own Thinking Cap
It's the start of a new school year--do you need a Thinking Cap? Artist Bird Ross will help participants to create their very own special Thinking Cap to get the year started off just right. Pizza will be served as part of this program! Register online beginning August 18 or call 824-1780.

Bubbler Artist-in-Residence: Open Studio
Stop into the Bubbler Room to learn more about Jacki and why she is wild about the wild things in this world! Draw with her or take on your own interpretation of creatures real and unreal with various making materials.
Open Media Lab
The Media Lab at Central Library is a free space to explore digital media production in the realms of stop motion animation, 3D world design, green screen video, audio design and graphic design. Drop in and explore the lab or work on projects with the expertise of our media lab staff.

Thursday's Artists Reception
A Meet the Artists Reception for Thursday's Artists. Their group exhibit "Young at Art" is showing at Pinney Library September 1-October 29, 2018
Thursday's Artists is a group of women with a shared love of drawing and painting. The artists began meeting over 20 years ago and continue to meet weekly. The group has an average of two shows a year, displaying their artwork at libraries, coffee shops and other venues. Each is inspired by the others, and the group shares ideas and critiques.
Not your momma's craft class! A new craft project each month, sometimes featuring local artists. Call the library or check back on this calendar for specific details closer to the event itself. Ages 12 and up.
