ANIME CANCELLED 4/13/2018

Hawthorne Library
04/13/2018
7:00 pm - 8:45 pm

Mari Tamaki is in her second year of high school and wants to start something. It's then that she meets Shirase, a girl with few friends who's considered weirdo by the rest of the class and nicknamed "Antarctic" since it's all she ever talks about. Unlike her peers, Mari is moved by Shirase's dedication and decides that even though it's unlikely that high school girls will ever go to Antarctica, she's going to try to go with Shirase.

The Hawthorne Anime Club was created to give people a place to gather, watch, and talk about Japanese animation. Each meeting will include screenings of everything from classic titles to new releases. The club is aimed primarily at teens and adults. Films are shown in Japanese with English subtitles. Refreshments served at each meeting.

Call ahead to reserve your spot! People under age 16 who are interested in attending are required to have a parent present or to have a signed parental permission slip.

Paced for newer students to gain confidence, this class requires students are able to move from the floor to standing without assistance. Students are encouraged to dress in comfortable clothing with a flexible waist band, and to bring their own yoga mat and/or a compact blanket or other supports-some mats will be available for students without.

Kristin Sage has been teaching yoga classes in Madison for over 15 years and is skilled at helping students find intelligent ways to work with limitations. For more information visit www.sageyoga.net.

12:00 pm - 12:45 pm

This mid-day class will focus on gentle movement, breath awareness, and building a foundation for a safe yoga practice.
