Donate to the Sequoya Capital Campaign

Your tax-deductible contribution will help us build and furnish a vibrant new Sequoya Library. Contributions are welcome anytime on the City of Madison's secure server (find out more) or by mail. Join our many donors in helping Sequoya grow!

Donate Books and Other Materials

Give your gently used books, CDs, and videos an "afterlife" by donating them to the Friends of the Library for book sales or donate new or used books on our Amazon Wish List for our book discussion kits. Proceeds fund special projects, programs and facilities improvements. Contributions are tax-deductible.

Donate Your Time and Talent

Volunteers provide essential support for library functions, including mailings, research, and even gardening.

Join the Friends

Over 800 Madisonians are members of the Central or Branch Friends organizations, providing volunteer help and supplemental funds for special projects and collections that the Library could not otherwise afford.

Visit the Friendshop

Located on the second floor of the Central Library, the Friends Book Store is a treasure trove of used books, CDs, videos, and other materials. Proceeds from the Friendshop and book sales benefit the Madison Public Library.
