Donate to the Madison Public Library Foundation

Donations to the Madison Public Library Foundation are accepted at all times in person, through the mail, and online via the City of Madison by credit card or automatic withdrawal from a checking or savings account.

If you choose to contribute online, please be aware that the charge will show up in your checking/savings account or on your credit card statement as a charge by the "City of Madison." You will receive a confirmation number at the end of your transaction - you may want to keep the number for a few days in case you have any questions about your online donation.

You will receive instant notification of your transaction via email, and a print receipt in the mail which you can use for tax purposes. All donations to the Madison Public Library Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Sometimes employers or former employers will match your gift, too.
