Example 4: I read a book about a recovering addict who goes back to his hometown in New York or New Jersey. I know the author’s first name is Richard. How do I find it?

At the main menu page, click on ‘Custom Search.’

 

Enter the information you know in the appropriate fields. Words that describe the plot or characters should go in the "Full Text" box and should be connected with ‘and’ if you are using more than one word or phrase.

Then click "Search"

 

Here are the two titles the database found that match the search. Click on the titles to read the summaries.
