Example 4: Can I find a website featuring my favorite children’s book author?

From the TeachingBooks front page, click on the author websites tab on the top right of the screen. The tab will turn purple as you scroll over it.

This brings you to the Author and Illustrator Personal Websites page. These are official sites overseen by the authors themselves. You can read personal biographies, find interactive activities and find contact information for many authors.

Scroll through the alphabetical listing to find the name of the author or illustrator you are looking for. For example, if you wanted to look at Eric Carle’s website, click on his name and you will be directed to his personal website.
