Example 4: How can I find suppliers of medical equipment in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN, area?

Choose the Custom Search, and select YP Heading or SIC and MSA as search criteria. (MSA stands for Metropolitan Service Area, and covers a city and its suburbs. For example, Middleton, Town of Madison, and Fitchburg are included in the Madison, WI MSA). Type in "medical equipment " as the YP Heading or SIC. Choose "Minnesota" for the "State."

Choose "Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN for the MSA. Then, select all relevant Yellow Page Headings by clicking on them in the "Exact Matches" window or the "Related Matches" window. Clicking on a selection once "selects" it by sending it to the "Selected Choices" window. You may unselect from this window by clicking on any entry once. If you have a specific need, like "dialysis equipment" to include or exclude, do so. Otherwise, it's often better to choose more rather than less, for a broader result that you can weed down once you have more information.

Next, evaluate each record based on name, location, and any other criteria you might have. Some, like A to Z Rental Eden Prairie, may not fit your purposes (if, for example, you were looking to market a product or service to medical equipment suppliers) because medical equipment is just one thing that A to Z Rental carries.

You may get more information by looking at an individual's company profile. You may also use this to locate the companies that seem best based on company name, size, location, and SIC code and use this information to further refine your search.

Once you've identified the relevant records, you may select one or many records and then print them or save them.
