Example 4: I am thinking of switching careers. Are there tests that can help me prepare for a new job?

 

From the front page of Learning Express, browse the 'Featured Resources' links on the right side of the page.

 

You will find listings for Civil Service, EMS, Firefighter, Health Careers, Law Enforcement, Real Estate and more. Click on any of the offerings to find out more information, for example Health Careers.

 

From here, you can choose a product to study. There are practice exams for health careers focusing on biology, chemistry, and math or nursing school entrance tests.

 

If you were to select the Nursing School Practice Entrance Test 1: Biology, you will be given 50 biology questions based on actual questions from nursing school entrance exams commonly used in the field today. Click on the red Practice Now! button to begin the test. You will be asked to sign in or register.

 

Once you have signed in, you will be taken to the Test Instructions Page.

 

Once you have read the instructions, you may begin the exam by clicking on the blue Start button.

 

From the exam, you can answer the questions on each page and click on the More button to get to the next questions. You may also follow the blue tool buttons at the top of the screen to go back to Instructions, open the Questions page (this page shows you how many questions are in the exam. You can then click on the number to view each question), Save your test for later or Score the test and find out results. There is also a timer box on the right side that shows how much time is remaining.
