Example 2: Tutors are very expensive. Does LearningExpress have anything to offer my children?

LearningExpress Libary

blue arrow From the front page of Learning Express, browse categories on the left side of the page under Learning Centers. There are links for elementary school, middle school, and high school. ACT and SAT materials are found under College Preparation.

Elementary School

blue arrow If you click on Elementary School, you can choose from Math Skills Improvement or Reading Skills Improvement. Click on Reading Skills Improvement.

Elementary School

blue arrow If you click on 4th Grade Reading Practice you will get a list of different tutorials and exams. Click on Login to add next to Informational Text 1.

Log in

blue arrow If you have not already logged in, you will be prompted to do so. If you were already logged in, you will click on Add to My Center instead of Login to add.

 

Informational Text 1

blue arrow You will be alerted that Informational Text 1 was added to My Center. You can access the test by going to My Center or by clicking on Start This Test Now!

blue arrowOnce you have reviewed the instructions, you may start the exam by clicking on the blue Start button.

What Was the First Creature from Earth to Visit Space?

blue arrow If the exam is timed, the remaining time will appear in the upper right-hand corner. You may follow the blue tool buttons at the top of the screen to go back to the Instructions or open the Questions page (this page shows you how many questions are in the exam. You can then click on the number to view each question). You can save your progress by clicking Finish Later or Score the test and find out results. Once you score your test, you can view the answers, with explanations.
