What is LearningExpress Library?

LearningExpress Library is a comprehensive, online database of practice tests and tutorial course series designed to help students and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. You'll get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized analysis of your results. You can take as many tests as you need - an amazing variety are available including including college and graduate placement tests (ACT, SAT, GRE, MCAD, LSAT), elementary and high school tests (Advanced Placement; High School, Middle School, and Elementary School Skills), and career preparation exams (GED, EMS, Firefighter, PPST - Praxis, Civil Service, and reading, math and writing skills practice).

How do I access LearningExpress Library?

To connect to LearningExpress Library, go to the Madison Public Library web page. By choosing Research > Databases > LearningExpress Library from the Madison Public Library web page, you will be able to access LearningExpress from anywhere. Or, access the database here.

LearningExpress Library’s main page will come up. Sign in as a new or returning user and you are ready to go.

What can I use LearningExpress Library for?

You can use LearningExpress to take practice tests for school or work or to help improve skills in topics like math, vocabulary and spelling. There are exams for the elementary, middle, and high school level as well higher education. Exams for civil service jobs, healthcare, the military, TOEFL and U.S. Citizenship are also available.

How do I save or print records?

Create a user name and password and then verify your password. After you sign in, you can review the history of tests you have already taken and save tests that you want to continue practicing.

You will find the "Sign In" box on the right hand side of the front page.

Once you have registered as a new user, you will be able to sign in the next time as a returning user and access your saved tests.
