Example 3: I need information about the author Margaret Walker.

From the front page of AABD, click on the Search box on the left hand side of the page.

From the Search Options page, click on the Search Profiles link.

From the Biographical Profile Search page, put the name you are looking for in the Name field, last name first. Then click on the search button.

This gives a list with two records for Margaret Walker. To view the profiles, click on the open boxes next to the records, then click the View Profile box. To email these records to yourself, keep the boxes checked, then click on the @ sign to the left of the boxes. These records will be added to your list of selected records.

Margaret Walker the author is featured in record number one. You can find out more information about her by clicking on the link from the Sketch(es) or Illustration(s) line.

You can choose to print, email or save this information to a disk.
