Example 4: I am looking for a book about a civil war soldier who is from Connecticut. I can't remember the name of the book, can I search for this on NoveList?

From the front page of NoveList, click on the purple Search our Database tab.

From the Search our Database screen, click on the Describe a Plot link.

This screen asks you to enter words describing the plot of the book you are trying to find, for example, “civil war soldier from Connecticut”.

This gives you a list with 5 titles featuring Civil War soldiers from Connecticut. Click on the titles to find a plot summary.

From here you can print, email, or add titles to a list.
