A New Pinney Library
Madison Public Library Foundation has begun the "quiet phase" of a $2.5 million capital campaign for the new Pinney Library, which will be constructed a few blocks from its current location. As the first east side capital project for the library and the Foundation in over 10 years, this facility is sorely needed to better serve the many residents living in the neighborhoods that Pinney Library serves.
Pinney Library is the third-busiest among Madison's nine libraries. The new library will double its current size to 20,000 square feet while adding new and more technology, a larger community room, study rooms, dedicated spaces for teens and children, and an outdoor courtyard. Madison Public Library wants to get to know you better. What better way to do this than a good conversation? Your feedback will steer us in the right direction as the City grows and changes. Tell Us is a kit that takes the public meeting from our place to yours, and helps us develop spaces, programs and services that meet your needs. Available in four languages: English, Spanish, Hmong, and Mandarin Chinese. Learn more about Tell Us or download a kit.
