Fall is finally here! That means the Madison Public Library's "Fun with Falls Leaves!" program is right around the corner. On Saturday, October 1st at 10:00AM, Lakeview Library is hosting an event featuring fun stories, songs and art celebrating fall leaves! Madison Public Library is proud to assist the Madison City Clerk's office as a location for in-person absentee voting and voter registration. This is the first time in Madison's history that early voting sites are available beyond the downtown City Clerk's office. Absentee voting starts on Monday, September 26 and lasts through November 4. The Sequoya Library on 4340 Tokay Blvd. closed at 5 pm on Monday, September 19 due to a power outage. Thanks to quick work from MG&E, power has been restored and the library is open as of 6:30pm.  The library expects to be open regular hours on Tuesday, September 20 (9 am-9 pm).   Items on hold at the Sequoya Library will have their hold dates extended by one day to make up for the inconvenience. more
