Local Children’s Artworks on Display at Overture
As part of the Fine Art of Children’s Book Illustration exhibition, the James Watrous Gallery hosts a special outreach exhibition from Nov. 17–Jan. 8 in the Playhouse Gallery, lower level of Overture Center for the Arts in Madison. The free exhibition, Dreams of Our Future, will feature selected artworks from fourth- and fifth-grade students at Glendale Elementary School in Madison who are creating their own illustrated books based on their visions for the future. On Saturday, Nov. 28, at 3:30 pm the students will read from their books on the Rotunda Stage at Overture Center.
