I find it hard to believe that Publisher’s Weekly couldn’t find any worthy books by female authors this year. Kathryn Stockett’s The Help should be on the list, in my opinion.

Reader beware, Shop Class as Soulcraft requires a background in philosophy and logic before you tackle it, it was quite a challenging read.
