Practice Your Typing at the Central Library

Alicia

You may already be aware that the Central Library offers access to a word processing computer for those who want to be able to type and edit documents but don’t need internet access. Located in the Fiction Room, on the 2nd floor of the library, this computer now has a typing tutor program, Mavis Beacon, which is available for beginning typists and anyone who wants to improve their typing skill and speed. Call 266-6300 or stop by the Fiction Desk to reserve one hour of typing time up to a day in advance. Any time used on this computer won’t count towards your daily internet usage.
