Learn About the History of Madison Public Library at South Madison

Plans are underway for the new South Madison Branch! The future of the Madison Public Library is sure to be exciting, but what do you know about its past? On Thursday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the South Madison Branch, join Terrie Goren, Director of the Madison Public Library Foundation, for a presentation of The History of the Madison Public Library. Terrie will be showing a DVD program of the history of Madison Public Library, including stories about the South Madison Branch.  She will also discuss how you can be a part of history as we plan our new South Madison Branch Library. Come and share stories about your library experiences at the South Madison Branch, and stay after the presentation for elections for the 2009 Friends of South Madison Branch board. Refreshments will be served.
