Shovel Ready
With the passage of the new American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the state of Wisconsin expectes to receive several million dollars in stimulus funds from the federal government to upgrade 
various projects. The state has created a web site - Stimulus Watch - listing “shovel ready” projects submitted by the mayors of the state in the 2008 U.S. Conference of Mayors report. The site is searchable by keyword, state/city, and program type. You may vote on a given project and indicate if you think it is critical or not.
