Parking Limited at South Madison Branch Due to Construction

Construction has begun on the new Villager Mall, the future home of the South Madison Branch Library, and infrastructure construction has temporarily limited the number of parking places in front of the library.  Anyone who wishes to use the library can still park in the spaces available directly in front of the library or any of the spaces labeled, “Harambee Center Parking.”  You can enter the library via the Harambee Center main doors, Monday Friday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. These doors are located directly to the right of the library doors if you are facing the library.  Doors to the Harambee Center close at 5 p.m. unless there are special events.  However, after 5 you may still use any of the parking places labeled “Harambee Center” and walk to the library front entrance.

The library will be open regular hours during construction, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. -  5 p.m.  If you have any questions, please call the South Madison Branch Library, 266-6395.
