Homework Help - What Do You Need Most?

Tana

Our youth services librarians have been busy updating our booklists of recommended materials by topic, and we’ll be developing new ones, too. In addition to recommending “fun” reading, we’d like to feature the sorts of resources that teachers, parents, and caregivers need for curriculum planning, student assignments, and other “homework help” topics.  Many of these resources will be books, but we’ll also include web sites, magazine articles, and newspaper articles.

We know what types of homework subject requests we often receive - daily life in history, American states and their symbols, countries of the world, cultural groups, animals, authors, science fair projects. But we’d like to know what topics and what formats would be most helpful for YOU. Please let us know by commenting on this blog, or emailing madtech@scls.lib.wi.us. You can receive updates to the lists we publish by subscribing to the Library Kids monthly email newsletter.

My son could some assistance in his 8th grade algebra class. If there were some supplementary materials that were fun to read that might help.
