Community Forum on Future of Central Library
include("adsense.php"); ?>An open forum to discuss the future of the Central Library will take place Wednesday, October 29 @ 7 p.m. at Capitol Lakes Retirement Center, 333 W. Main Street. Sponsored by Capitol Neighborhoods, the discussion will focus on the role of the downtown library in a possible mixed-use building or stand alone building and how that affects the community. Presenters include Barb Dimick, library director, and Jeffery Scherer, architect with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle in Minneapolis who has worked with libraries for more than 25 years and is currently consulting with several communities.
