What’s an Overlander?
Gregor lives in a big city with his mom and his little sister, Boots. His dad disappeared about a year ago and no one knows what happened to him. One day, Gregor and Boots are in the basement of their apartment building doing laundry when Boots falls into a big hole behind one of the dryers. Gregor dives after her to save her and discovers that the hole is MUCH deeper than he would have thought possible. Eventually, they both land and find themselves in a world inhabited by giant bugs. How will they get back home? Will the bugs be friends or enemies? Will Gregor’s father ever be found? Read Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins to find out!
