  Hi Jessica, According to Stephenie Meyer’s website, the release date for Breaking Dawn (the fourth book in the Twilight series) will be announced at 12:01am EST on February 7th. That is tonight at 11:01 pm here in the midwest! There is also a new book, The Host, that is not part of the Twilight series, that is on order at our library. I am sure that will be cool, too.

  The official release date for Breaking Dawn will be Saturday, August 2, 2008.

  Who has the exact dates of when each book (Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse) came out?

  The release dates for Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse in hardcover are as follows:
  Twilight - Oct. 1, 2005
  New Moon - Sept. 1, 2006
  Eclipse - Aug. 7, 2007

  Sammy, a press release on Stephenie Meyer’s web site says Breaking Dawn will be “the fourth and final book in Stephenie Meyer’s #1 international bestselling Twilight Saga”.

  Stephenie has a new novel coming out in April called The Host. I read a copy for a review and thought it was great. Aliens have almost taken over the world, but there are a few holdouts fighting to survive. One of them is a woman who is captured. There is a love story but it’s a triangle between this woman, the alien who inhabits the woman’s body and the man the woman loved. Sounds odd but it was a page-turner.

  I really don’t want to wait til August to read the new book..I am just about to start reading Eclipse.
  But why would they make us wait so long?

  I think the book Twilight is awesome! At 1st it’s like they (bella & Edward) love each other *kissy* *kissy* but then after bella gets almost killed she wants to turn into a vampire! i think thats kinda of selfish becuz doesnt edward like her as a human? anyyway, thats just a thought but i think bella is thinking too much about it 7 she would commit suuicicde without edward in her life.

  i really love all of the books, i hope the last one is super great, i expect sooo much. i hope the movie doesnt butcher the book. i love edward the most i love his relationship with bella….

  Well,i’ve only read thee first and im so amazed by it, im waiting for my friend to finish the 2nd one, but i read it WAY quicker than i expected, really the fisrt book that i read out of school because i wanted to….:]
  Its an extremly great book.

  i read the 1st one already and just stared on the 2nd. It sucks, that edward moved. he a idoit through, to just leave and take that c.d.

  I read all three they are so good! I really hope none of the people from harry potter show up in the movie. It will just ruin the story. I’m re-reading them , thats how good they are. at first before i read them i thought they were too big and boring but i sooooo off I cant WAIT TILL THE MOVIE CMES OUT!!!!! I love stephanie meyer. She is my favorite novel writer ever!!!!

  Ahh…I just finished the 3rd book and It was so good. I just hope everything works out between Edward and Bella… And I really hope Jacob doesn’t come back into the picture and ruin everthing!

  OK people. All of you out there! These are the best books ever!!!! I’m reading Eclipse right now, when I’m not reading, I’m researching all about the books and film.

  Cannot believe all of us have to settle for our everyday lives when somewhere in the pages of a book, there is Edward!!! Sucks to go back to reality! I am so inlove with all the characters, it’s insane. I almost wish I never came across Twilight.

  oh my goodness!! i love these book series!! its unbelievable!
  haha!! i usually dont read books and i dont like readin but after my cousin begged (and forced) i read it!!!! i could not put the book down!!! i sure did go 2wal-mart and bought all 3books!!!! haha!
  these r the best books there could ever be!!! i love stephenie meyer!!! shes my favorite author too!!!! =) i cant wate 4 the 4th book! i cant believe i have 2 wate untill AUGUST!! thats in forever! wel i finished all 3booksin 1week!!!!! =) and now all i do on the internet is keep up on anything new about the movie or 4th book!
  i feel so bad 4 jacob!!! i fell inlove with all the characters in this book!!! haha!!!! i hope every thing goes good!!!! m so excited!!
  and m really hoping the movie doesnt mess anything up!! i hope its as good as the book!!!! i love these books i cant get over it!!!

  OMG!!! I love these books. my fav character is Alice, she is so kool. just 2 let uknow there is a 5 book coming out, it is midnight sun, it is Edwards pint of veiw from Twilight, I read the first chapter at www.stephaniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_chapter1.pdf
  It was so awesome, but violent and confusing. just check it out it is interesting. I cant believ they have 2 make us wait until august 4 the 4 book. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  OMG! my friend francis said that the book was too romantic, julianna and i think she is delusional and deranged and now she is uninvited to our twilight movie premiere. I love Twilight!

  Me and my friend julianna are obsessed with the series and the upcoming movie. i cannot believe we have to wait till december 12!!!!! that is in 231 days! That is such a long time! stupid hollywood pick up the pace!

  I just finished the first book a few days ago and am almost done with the second.

  i did read on her site however that the person they got to play Edward, was IN harry potter. i was kinda mad. but i think he’ll play it well. in harry potter he was just an extra i believe, or a very small part. but i did recognize him.
