Frogs and Our Environment
include("adsense.php"); ?>
Pay attention to the frogs! Frogs are an important indicator of how ecosystems are faring. When the frog population is showing stress, that means that our environment is under stress.
Find more information about frogs, as well as a booklist and web sites with coloring sheets and fun facts by visiting our Frog Month site.

Hi, Kandace, I’d recommend the book “Tracking the vanishing frogs : an ecological mystery” by Kathryn Phillips (currently available at three libraries) or you can look up articles in our EBSCOhost magazine database to find recent articles on frogs and environmental effects.

Hello there,
I clicked on your link for the EBSCOhost magazine database to find more on the frogs and environmental effects but was not able to log in. How do you get the library card info for log in?
Thank you,

Hi Khalid, You can sign up for a library card in person at any Madison Public Library location. It just takes a couple of minutes to fill out the form and you will need to bring a picture ID and proof of address. More information is available at http://www.madisonpubliclibrary.org/circ.html#getcard.
