Help for Test Takers

Barb D.

welcomescreen_sm.gifIs your daughter taking college entrance exams? Is your son interested in advanced placement in a college course? Are you studying to become a real estate broker? Is your neighbor studying to be an EMT? For years Madison Public Library has offered print guides to people preparing to take education or job related tests. Today we are able to offer many of the same study guides electronically to anyone who comes into any of the Madison Public Libraries. In Learning Express Library, users can create their own accounts, take any of the dozens of tests offered or read any of the electronic books relating to study skills, military service, Federal job requirements and much more. Want to know how you’re doing? Learning Express will score your test. Not enough time to finish? You can stop at any point and pick up next time where you left off. We think this meets a great need for all of Madison. See our subscription databases page to connect to the database from within the library.

As of February 12, you no longer have to be within the library to access LearningExpress Library. Now you can access it anywhere from the Madison Public Library web site under the “Research” menu, or right here!
