Visit one of the nine Madison libraries to join our Summer Reading Club. All ages welcome from birth through grade 8. Join us on a brain-building reading adventure this summer and earn a free book of your choice and an invitation to our Amazing Amulet Parties, a special Bubbler Jr. making experience just for summer readers. Summer Reading Club runs through August 31 - sign up today!

Why is reading and learning during the summer so important?
Summer is the perfect time for kids to relax, but it’s also a time when summer learning loss can occur. This learning loss is called the “summer slide,” and happens when children do not engage in educational activities during the summer months. By joining the Summer Reading Club and participating in library programs, kids can prevent this from happening.
