Night Light Event
The Bubbler’s August Artist in Residence is Danika Brubaker. Founder of the For the One Who Finds Me Project, Danika is inviting library visitors though the month of August to explore and participate in creating “found art”—including mini flower arrangements, screen prints, and tiny sculptures and documenting  these found moments on social media platforms. The Bubbler at Madison Public Library is excited to announce The Tiny Book Show, a mobile exhibition of miniature books housed inside a 1965 Covered Wagon travel trailer and curated by The Creativity Caravan. The mobile arts- and education-centered organization, headquartered in northern NJ, will be bringing its collection of books on a summer-long cross-country tour, including stops in Chicago, Madison, Salt Lake City, Portland, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Upper elementary and middle school students are invited to Kids Code Madison, a weekly, drop-in coding club at Hawthorne Library. A volunteer-led club program, youth can program their own interactive stories, games, and animations using programs and tools like Scratch and Code Studio.
