Kathy Griffin knows Prince Charles!
This book made me laugh and laugh. In fact, I laughed out loud many times. There is something about Kathy Griffin. Her humor speaks to me. She calls it like she sees it, she's a hard worker, she's got a real Midwest sensibility, and she's friends with Cher. Like, she goes over to Cher's house and they eat snacks and watch movies and play in Cher's glitter room (her make-up and cosmetics area, naturally).
She's had "run-ins" with a wide range of celebrities and it's impressive that she was able to create an alphabetical catalog of all the parties involved in these events. The run-ins were generally good, occasionally obnoxious, several uncomfortable, a few bad. Most of my favorites include learning about her enduring friendships with the likes of J.J. Abrams, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Rachael Ray and Suze Orman.
Also of note: photographs! I love it when there are photographs and Kathy does not disappoint. Why is Pitbull carrying Kathy? How do Kathy and Don Rickles know each other? When was Kathy at Buckingham Palace? You'll have to read to find out.
And there's still more to look forward to after you've enjoyed the book: Kathy and Anderson Cooper will be celebrating 10 years of hosting CNN's New Year's Eve Live from New York's Time Square. I cannot wait!
