Wanna be a genius?

Have you always dreamed of being a genius?  Your dream is about to come true.  You, yes you, can be a genius: all you need to do is read Mental Floss: The Genius Instruction Manual, published by the lovely (and oh so erudite) editors at mental_floss magazine.

If you’re thinking this book is your standard “factoid” collection, don’t.  Not only is it chock full of fun facts (Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Edgar Allan Poe, and Lewis Carroll all married their cousins), but the writing displays a special (and funny) genius all its own.  As the editors state in the introdution:
