This is not a serious book.  But it is seriously fun.  If you are looking to while away the afternoon without a care in the world, amused by the pleasant possibilities life has to offer, flip through Dog Parties:  Entertaining Your Party Animals by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman.  The author (and mother of Lola, the pampered Chihuahua featured on the cover) is a party planner extraordinaire and she loves her little dog.  So why not combine these two things and invite some fellow dog lovers to some super soirées?  This book features a garden party, a “Howlloween” party, a spa day, a puppy shower, wedding, bat mitzvah, sleepover and more.  All parties are complete with fantastic favors suitable for canines, doggie treats and fun stuff for the adults attending the parties as well.  Seriously fun.
