If you haven’t already, you should check out our list of Book Blogs above. Included in the list are many of our favorite book sites. These are sites that are known in the wider world and they make for a nice way to spend an afternoon browsing books online.
What we’d like to do now is create another list. This list would be blogs written locally that are book related. If you write such a blog, we’d love to hear about it. We promise to consider all blogs submitted - though we don’t promise to include them all.
Ideally, your blog would focus on books or entertainment with books included, and would be updated frequently. If you’d like to let us know about your blog, leave a comment here or contact me at the email address listed at the bottom of the blog.

I’m so happy you’re going to include local blogs!
I write in a blog about 5 days a week, and sometimes I write book reviews. I will notify you when I write something pertaining to books. Is that okay?

I understand you may be looking for local blogs, but would you consider one from a Southern neighbor’s perspective?

I recently started a blog where I review both contemporary and classic novels. My goal with contemporary novels is to highlight/find books that will become “classics” in the future. I may also review movie’s related to books, especially those with a British influence.
I try and update it at least weekly.

I’m a library grad student at the U of W-Madison, as well as a book critic, columnist and member of the National Book Critics Circle.
