Here's a new one from the sweet goofy guy with the crazy dad
Justin Halpern catapulted into the world of fame and fortune after his popular twitter feed "Sh*t My Dad Says" was parlayed into a best-selling book and prime time network television show. Well, fame and fortune might be exaggerating a bit, and the show starring William Shatner as Justin's dad pretty much bombed, but he's still writing books and they are still funny.
Halpern's new book I Suck at Girls chronicles Justin's lack of finesse with the ladies, starting at about age six or so when he was showing off for the little girl who sat in front of him in class. He drew a picture of a dog going poop on the head of a little girl (who looked a lot like the little girl who sat in front of him in class) and didn't understand why his classmate became so upset after he shared his special drawing with her. That kind of sets the stage for his future dealings with the fairer sex. It's one abomination after another in the most adorable way.
You've got to appreciate a guy who is so open and honest about truly cringe worthy events. Of course, his dad gives him lots of very embarrassing, colorfully expressed words of wisdom about how to deal with girls, but it's always after the fact and too late to be of much use. I'm not sure who is funnier - Justin with his bumbling or his dad with his grumbling. They are quite the pair.
Humorous writing aside, you don't have to worry too much about Justin. He's actually a handsome fellow and doing just fine in the romance department.
