School-based Tutoring
Many area schools have after-school homework clubs or other tutoring options. Begin your tutor search by talking with your student’s teacher or school counselor. Your school may have a list of peer tutors, paid adult tutors, Schools of Hope volunteer tutors, or tutoring options at neighborhood centers close to your school. Madison School and Community’s Safe Haven (http://mscr2.senscia.com/contentPage.cfm?ID=391) programs also offer tutoring along with after-school child care.

Offers a variety of academic and tutoring options for all ages and can be targeted individually or within a group setting. Areas include: tutoring and academic support, homework organization, study strategies and test-taking skills, ACT/SAT and test preparation, and comprehensive reading and writing programs.
Huntington Learning Center
This company offers K-12 tutoring in a range of subjects and also has prep courses for the ACT and SAT.

Preschoolers through those in 12th grade can get help in a variety of subjects (including test prep).
