About the App Fairy Podcast

photo of Carissa in the recording booth

The App Fairy Podcast is created by Carissa Christner, a children’s librarian at the Madison Public Library. Funding was provided by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, a non-profit research and innovation lab dedicated to advancing children's learning in a digital age (you guys, they're also based at the beloved Sesame Workshop!). Additional funding provided by the Heising-Simons Foundation.

Each episode is recorded in a soundproof studio at Audio for the Arts in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The audio engineer is Audrey Martinovich. Theme music for the podcast was composed and performed by David Szesztay and discovered through the Free Music Archive. All of the fantastic artwork was created by Hannah Sandvold.

You can subscribe and listen to the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, and TuneIn.
