Libraries Closed for Winter Holidays

All Madison Public Library locations will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Thursday, December 24 & Friday, December 25 (also Sunday, December 27).

You may drop items off in our book drops or use LINKcat to place holds, check your library card, or renew items. The library's databases  and downloadable audiobooks and eBooks will be accessible with your library card while we're closed.

 

Great Gifts for Library Lovers

Stop in at any of our Madison Public Library locations and pick up a t-shirt or tote bag! We have lots of shirt sizes available for both kids and adults.

Library Book Sales

Support your favorite library and one of many Friends' groups by selecting great deals at one of six upcoming book sales hosted by Libary Friends' groups before the end of the year.

Libraries in the News

December 13 - Star Wars fans had the opportunity to dress up and meet members of the Wisconsin Garrison, the local chapter of the 501st Legion. Members of the volunteer organization that dresses as Star Wars characters met with library visitors in advance of this weekend's release.
