Help Us Celebrate the Wisconsin Book Festival - October 7 - 11, 2009

The eighth annual Wisconsin Book Festival, "Courage", will be a five-day celebration, in and around downtown Madison, from October 7 - 11, 2009. Designed to delight booklovers of all walks, tastes, and ages, the Festival features readings, lectures, book discussions, writing workshops, live interviews, children's events, and more.  Events are spread throughout the downtown and beyond but we're most excited about the ones we'll be hosting right here at the library.

Friday, October 9, 5:30 p.m., Central Library Harriet Brown & Joan Fischer: Feed Me! Writers Dish about Food, Eating, Body Image and Weight
Saturday, October 10, 1:30 p.m., Central Library Verse Wisconsin: Sarah Busse & Wendy Vardaman
