Movie Matinee at Lakeview - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, rated PG13

Lakeview Library
07/15/2017
2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

The year is 1926, and writer Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) arrives in New York having just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. In his hand he holds a mysterious leather suitcase which hides a wide array of them, ranging from tiny twig-like ones to majestic and humongous ones. Throughout his adventures, the fragile equilibrium of secrecy between the unseen world of witches and wizards and the ordinary or "No-Maj" people hangs in the balance, seventy years before Harry Potter reads Newt's book at Hogwarts.

No registration required. There is room for 50 guests and seating will be on a first come first serve basis. Rated PG-13 for some fantasy action violence. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Light refreshments to be provided.
