Affirmative Art - Empower Your Dreams

Affirmative Art - Empower Your Dreams

Goodman South Madison Library
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

With Affirmative Art you draw your dreams - what you truly want in life - and create action steps to empower your dreams.

Participate in an Affirmative Art session to share your dreams with other people, and together encourage each other to achieve your goals.

Affirmative Art is a grassroots organization which uses art to empower one to realize their life goals through individual and community building. The Affirmative Art concept asks the individual, regardless of his or her educational background, social status and race, to use art to say “Yes” to future dreams instead of saying “No, it is not possible.' Realizing that saying “Yes” through visual art is not enough, Eirik Jarl Trondsen and his co-creators developed concrete tools to help people identify and actualize their dreams with a two-phase group exercise followed by individual implementation phase called Affirmative Art Alignment and Action Steps.
