In the Indie Film Production Workshop the crew from the Madison based film company, Key Media, will work with you to draft, plan and plot your own independent film! Topics covered will include; Storytelling techniques, script writing, working on small/micro/no budgets, directing, and how to schedule a well managed production. Attendees are encouraged to bring a USB compatible storage device as well as a notepad and a pencil.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Film Editing workshop attendees will work with a professional Film Editor to edit, color correct, master and composite film. Attendees can bring their own footage or use stock footage provided by the Media Lab. Attendees are encouraged to bring a thumb drive or hard drive to save their work, and headphones for editing audio.

This workshop is staffed by Dan, with an expertise in Film Editing and Production.

The Media Lab at Central Library is a free space to explore digital media production in the realms of stop motion animation, 3D world design, green screen video, audio design and graphic design. Drop in and explore the lab or work on projects with the expertise of our media lab staff and volunteers.

This Open Lab is staffed by Dan, with an expertise in Film Editing and Production.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Join the Bubbler at Madison Public Library for the opening of a new art show by Polka! Press celebrating the diverse talent of their members over the years. This lively evening will also highlight the Tarot Art Show: Re-imagining the Tarot Deck, curated by artist-in-residence, Lesley Numbers featuring 150+ artists from all over the country.
Other art featured that evening will include work from Thomas Hellstrom displayed throughout the building.

Come to enjoy art, drinks by Gib's, and activities including:
Polka! Press members leading screen-printings and zine makings demos throughout the evening with takeaways!

Anja Notànjà Sieger composing one-card tarot interpretations spontaneously from her typewriter. Anja is a typewriter performance artist based out of Milwaukee. More info at www.anjanotanja.com.

Make your own tarot card with Anthology. Draw a card, consult with reference books and collage your way to interpretation. We'll have twinkling watercolors, rubber stamps, collage images, washi tape, and other supplies for you to use.

Streaming live from the Cathedral Hall in Jersey City, NJ: A three-act performance of "The Divine Comedy," a collaboration across disciplines. Visual artists, poets, actors, musicians, thinkers, chefs and others who will all contribute this unique take on the "The Divine Comedy."
