Explore hands-on artistic, creative, and techie tools for building, creating, and playing, with a different focus each week. Flex your tinkering brain muscles with new inventions, problems, and puzzles. Drop-in and stay as long as you like. For kids ages 7 - 12, supervised younger siblings welcome.

Learning skills with textiles, knitting, and needle work. Begin the process in this workshop and take your skills home to practice, or join a community of learners near you and in your local library. Tools and materials will be provided. Drop in, no registration necessary. Ages 8-14 years old - younger children may attend with an adult helper.

In the 2D Animation workshop, attendees will work with a video compositor and animator to learn the tools used to tell a visual story. From an initial idea, to a script, to the animation and final edit, Composition and Animation expert Demetrius will walk you though the tools and processes that he uses to create his stories. Attendees are encouraged to bring a USB compatible storage device (portable hard drive or flash drive) to save their work.
This workshop is staffed by Demetrius, with expertise in animation and video composition.
