All Madison Public Libraries will be closed on Monday in observance of this federal holiday.

25th Annual Madison-Dane County King Holiday Observance. Overture Center Capital Theater, 6 p.m.
Our Challenge: Community and Peace. Former SCLC Education Director, Dorothy Cotton, who served under Dr. King's direct supervision, will bring her message of hope on her first visit to Madison. Other highlights include Madison/Dane County MLK Humanitarian Awards and the MLK Community Choir. Sponsored by the King Coalition and the Urban League of Greater Madison. [details]

30th Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. State Capitol Rotunda, 12 p.m.
Attend the free tribute to Dr. King's life and legacy at the State Capitol, or listen to the tribute at Wisconsin Public Radio's Ideas Network.
